My Sunday is a languorous affair of lounging around, luxuriating in doing nothing. However, I do indulge in the serious pleasure of a lazy long brunch at my favourite bistro. Cold cuts, olives, cheese, white wine, bites of bruschetta, succulent sea food… I was gently coasting along through my gastronomical cruise. I pepped an olive in my mouth, drew deeply on my Classic Verve enjoying the taste, when suddenly who do I see but a dead ringer of JFKjr. Same style, same jaunty walk. And guess what? He was wearing JFKjr’s. Cape cod youth look, complete with a duffel coat, and aviator shades. Duffel coat which is such an American staple actually became a style statement trough JFKjr.
Today it is again making the scene quite a bit. Actually both father and son are style icons who still make their presence felt. Who can forget JFK’s slim-cut Brooks Brother suits in black and charcoal? In fact Brooks Brothers reintroduced the cut and style of JFK in 2007 under the label The Fitzgerald. The dude that walked in is also carried a Classic Verve pack with its rich streaked burgundy looks with a dash of silver. I am sure, both the JFKs would have made perfect brand ambassadors for Classic Verve.
